Maui West Side

Walk 25 feet to Cove Beach Park from Villas by the Cove where you will find beginner-friendly waves perfect to start learning to surf on or take a calming walk along Charley Young Beach’s white sand with the love of your life.

Features & Facilities | Your lanai sits just steps away from a superb swimming pool which you may find yourself using daily in between picking out your day’s activity. 

With endless recreational outings available to you from this prime location, you may find yourself stand-up paddle boarding one day and off to the nearby Kalama Park tennis courts the next. 

No matter what you pick out though, I highly recommend making a stop at Kitoko Maui once or twice to enjoy an array of wonderfully unique delicacies.

Features & Facilities | When it comes to the best luxury resorts in Maui, I would be remiss not to talk about Montage. With an infinity pool cascading down over three levels running right up to the Pacific Ocean, and Kapalua Bay right at its feet, you can see why I think it is the best hotel in Maui on the beach side.

Rooms | Montage’s rooms in Kapalua Maui are actually all exquisite residential-style accommodations. With a variety of designs ranging from luxury contemporary to eclectic coastal, each boutique residence feels unique from the rest. 

It is so hard to choose, but I think that the Wailohia — Grand Residence 6101 — is my favorite out of all the luxury accommodations on this side of Maui. With a private heated whirlpool and a roomy infinity pool, you simply can’t go wrong. 

But if that is not your style then fear not because many of the resort’s premium residencies also come with complementary 60+ minute spa treatment reservations. 

You can enjoy Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage therapy, a Royal Body Renewal treatment, or relax in the Japanese Onsen-inspired whirlpool hot tub which is just as lovely as any private whirlpool.
